DOSSEG Use DOS Segment Ordering Directive
DOSSEG
DOSSEG forces the assembler order its segments in the standard DOS
order. This ordering is the same that high-level languages use.
(However, you do not need to use DOSSEG to link your program to high
level languages.)
Other alternatives include alphabetical ordering (see the .ALPHA
directive), or sequential ordering (see .SEQ).
Notes: DOSSEG is frequently used with the .MODEL directive.
